Ok, yes, I'm starting yet ANOTHER blog but I'm bogged down with ideas and nowhere to put them! Michael will not know about this blog so this is a great way to share some of the wedding plans with everyone. Hopefully it will keep me more organized too. I've spent a great deal of time and energy on DIY stuff. This will be a place to post all my pictures and hopefully get some feedback on the ideas that I have! SO.... even though I wish I had set this up the moment I was engaged....meh, this will have to do---you'll see a plethora of posts for hte next few days as I play catch up! For now, here is a picture of my engagement ring!
Michael was very sneaky in getting this for me. He had been taking me ring shopping more frequently throughout 2007...he'd have me try on these big rings or rings with lots of diamonds. I really liked them, but at the same time I knew we just could not afford a ring like that and it didn't make sense to have such a lavish ring when that money could be better spent elsewhere...so I had been pushing him to get something smaller and more simple--we could always upgrade the ring at a later date with a larger diamond or something--I even told me he could go with fake diamond--anything just to get a ring! lol! Many of my friends have solitaires and they look really pretty. I have been in love with Princess cut diamonds since forever, so that was my only "demand" it had to be princess cut. He got me exactly what I wanted!
